We've had breakfast at this relaxing little hide-a-way in Oregon several times now.
It's a beautiful spot to fly-in for a great meal with your friends. Tom & Carol are
the perfect hosts...If you call ahead, your breakfast will be on the griddle when you

The West Fork Lodge is an absolutely beautiful place to visit! It's
located in the Bitterroot Valley with a breathtaking view of the Bitterroot
Mountains of Montana. There's a 3000' grass airstrip, a bar, casino, and a
full service restaurant...Don't forget to check out the antiques in Darby!

Minam River Lodge is located outside of LaGrande,
Oregon in the midst of the Eagle Cap Wilderness, and is
only reachable by foot, horseback or (the preferred method)
bush plane. The 2006 Super Cub Fly-in was held at
Minam & we all had a blast! Land on their 2600' dirt & sod
runway, and Shawn & Shelly will make you feel right at

Fields Station in south eastern Oregon, is
one of my favorite places to visit when we're
out playing in the desert...The flight is beautiful
through the Owyhee canyon & along Steens
Mountain, the Alvord Desert is a great place to
land/play & meet up with your friends, the
food is awesome (definitely try a milkshake),
and you just don't find any nicer people than
the Downs family. (They keep everything up
and running at Fields Station) Check out the
Oregon Flying, Quick Clip below....

There is a "real" runway/dirt-strip across the
road. (about a 5 minute walk from the restaurant)
But the highway strip is a lot more fun!
